In order to ensure our products are used under appropriate conditions and gain your recognition over them, we will provide prints containing the instructions for operations and precautions. Please read them carefully before the installation and commissioning of LED displays.
List of hardware equipment
LED Display; Signal cable; Power cable; Control card (embedded in computer); Receiving card (embedded in LED Display); Desk-top computer (including DVI video output and serial port); Monitor and other related accessories.
Operating instructions
Installing hardware
Please follow the procedures below:
1¡¢ Insert DVI video card into the AGP slot on main board and install the driver of this card;
2¡¢ Insert the capture card into the empty PCI slot (if used);
3¡¢ Use DVI cable to connect the capture card to video card;
4¡¢ Connect control cable to serial port (Rs232) (optional, but Linsn system needs it);
5¡¢ Use network cable to connect the receiving card (for details, please refer to the engineering drawing);
6¡¢ Check and make sure all connections are correct, then conduct the settings or electrify the system for commissioning.
Installing software
Please follow the procedures below:
1¡¢Installing the driver for video card
Insert the disk of the video card driver into the CD-ROM, and then the system will start the automatic installation process. You should follow the indications and make relevant operations in that process.
First install DirectX8.1, then install the driver, and finally install the control panel.
2¡¢Player software
Install the special playing and setting software¡ªLED Studio, or other controlling software
Insert the attached disk containing the application software into CD-ROM, copy or install all programs into the computer.
Operating procedures (critic)
1¡¢ Turn on the display: First turn on the computer, then turn on the electronic display.
Electrify all devices (make sure the input voltage is conforming)
Turn on LED display body (blinking may be seen in some places at the moment when the power is supplied to the display body, meaning it is electrified). Then turn on the computer and make sure the video card is inserted correctly (otherwise, no image can be seen, called ¡°blank screen¡±), turn on the controlling software to set the basic pixel size and displaying area (such setting won¡¯t affect the displaying of LED images)
2¡¢Turn off the display: First turn off the power for LED display, then shut down the controlling software, and finally turn off the computer correctly.
Possible failures
1 If the system can¡¯t work, check whether all connections are correct, including: connections for strong current (weak current part already adjusted before delivery), signal cables (mainly the directions of input and output as indicated on the receiving card) and the system (please refer to instructions for system connection). Then check whether the installation of software is completed, including the setting of video card (please refer to the instructions for video card setting) and installation of controlling software.

The grounding and isolation between grounding and neutral wires shall be reliable. The power supply for LED display shall be far away from equipment with large power consumptions. |
